An International Water Conference will be held in Berlin, Germany on 12-14 September 2007 with the theme “Water Problems in Urban Areas and Approach to Solutions considering the Aspects of Sustainability”.

GTZ Water and Sanitation Program will sponsor the participation of NEDA Assistant Director General Ruben Reinoso and NWRB Executive Director Ramon Alikpala.  They will be joined by Ms. Agnes Balota, GTZ Senior Expert and Coordinator of the WSS Roadmap Project.  The Berlin Delegates will present the Philippine Roadmap Process during the conference.  Moreover, in the same conference, Mr. Andreas Kanzler, former Program Director of the GTZ WATSAN Program- PH will present about GTZ and the Ecosan Program.

After the conference, the delegates will proceed with their study tour to different places in Germany such as Leipzig, Frankfurt and Köln.  A courtesy visit to the GTZ Eschborn Office is also planned.  The delegates will be assisted by Mrs. Ellen Gerdes, GTZ Consultant.
