The implementation of DILG-GTZ Water Program toward Integrated Water Resources Management has been considered successful by independent assessors such as Price Waterhouse Coopers. Owing to the success of this program, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Development (BMZ) agreed to extend its implementation until July 31, 2010. (Read more…)
GTZ Water Program instrumental in the MOA Signing for the Rehabilitation of 2 Major Watersheds in Bohol
A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the conservation and rehabilitation of the two major watersheds of Bohol (Abatan and Loboc) was signed between the Provincial Government of Bohol, ABS-CBN Foundation, Inc. – Bantay Kalikasan and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR). Around 37,000 hectares will be rehabilitated in the 2 major watersheds.(Read more…)
